Software updated for BAS

Carrier has launched i-Vu Pro v8.5 software to enhance the security, commissioning and integration capabilities of its existing i-Vu building automation system (BAS).
The new version offers a detailed operator information report, providing visibility into who is using the system, for added security; and a staged download process, for more efficient controller firmware updates, reducing downtime for connected heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) equipment.
Additionally, an optional connector add-on allows BAS data to be published to a Message Queueing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) broker, a standard component in cloud-based computing environments and the Internet of Things (IoT).
